This 70mm² 4 core SWA armoured cable is designed for mains power distribution and control circuits, rated at 600/1000V with XLPE insulation and a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) bedding and outer sheath. The cable features class 2 stranded copper conductors and complies with BS6724 and BS EN/IEC 60228. Operating temperature range: -20°C to +90°C with a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C. Steel wire armour (SWA) provides mechanical protection, making it suitable for direct burial, indoor, outdoor, and duct installations. The LSZH construction ensures minimal smoke and toxic emissions in the event of fire, fully compliant with IS 10101:2020 for Ireland and BS 7671 for the UK. Ideal for public buildings, datacentres, and critical infrastructure.
