This 2.5mm² 7 core SWA armoured cable is designed for mains power and control applications, rated at 600/1000V with XLPE insulation and a robust Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer sheath. The cable features Class 2 stranded copper conductors for flexibility and efficiency, protected by steel wire armour (SWA) for direct burial and mechanical protection. Compliant with BS6724 and BS EN/IEC 60228, it has an operating temperature range from -20°C to +90°C. Numbered white cores up to 6mm² facilitate identification. Suitable for indoor, outdoor, underground, and ducted installations, particularly where fire, smoke, or fume risk must be minimized, such as public buildings and critical infrastructure. LSZH materials ensure compliance with IS 10101:2020 and BS7671 for fire performance in escape routes.
