The ABB S261-B32 is a single-pole miniature circuit breaker from the System pro M Compact range, rated at 32 A with a Type B tripping characteristic. It provides overcurrent and short-circuit protection for final circuits in domestic and commercial distribution boards, with a rated breaking capacity of 6 kA to IEC/EN 60898-1. The device operates at 230⁄400 V AC, 50⁄60 Hz and mounts on standard 35 mm DIN rail, occupying a single 17.5 mm module. Screw terminals accept conductors up to 25 mm². A Type B curve trips on fault currents of approximately three to five times rated current, suiting resistive and lightly inductive loads such as lighting and socket circuits. It is rated for operating temperatures from −25 °C to +55 °C. The S261 is a legacy ABB order code, superseded by the S201 series.
