The Brennenstuhl Garant CEE 2 is a 25-metre cable reel fitted with two CEE 230 V/16 A sockets and a CEE plug, conforming to the IEC 60309 industrial connector standard. The cable is H07RN-F 3G2.5 rubber-sheathed flex suited to outdoor, construction-site and maritime use. The reel is rated IP44 against splashing water and incorporates a thermal cut-out with a single-pole safety disconnect to protect against overheating. A galvanised steel tubular frame supports the orange drum, which is rewound by hand crank. Maximum continuous load is 1300 W when coiled and 3300 W when fully unwound at 230 V. Because it uses CEE connectors rather than standard domestic sockets, a CEE adapter is required for use with 13 A or Schuko equipment.
