The Chint NU6-IIG is a Type 2 (Test Class II) surge protective device for the protection of low-voltage power distribution systems against transient overvoltages from switching and indirect lightning. This four-pole version has a maximum continuous operating voltage of 440V AC, a nominal discharge current of 30kA and a maximum discharge current of 65kA on the 8/20µs waveform, with a voltage protection level of 2.2kV. It uses pluggable protective modules that can be replaced without disconnecting the circuit, and a window indicator shows module status. The device mounts on 35mm DIN rail across four 18mm modules and complies with IEC/EN 61643-11.
