Flexible multicore cable with four 1.0mm² cores in a white PVC sheath, to harmonised type H05VV-F (British type 3184Y, designation 4G1.0). Cores are colour-coded brown, black, blue and green/yellow (earth). Conductors are Class 5 flexible plain copper to BS EN 60228, with PVC insulation and a PVC outer sheath. Rated 300/500V and manufactured to BS EN 50525-2-11 (formerly BS 6500), with a maximum conductor operating temperature of 70°C. Flame retardant to BS EN 60332-1-2. Supplied for four-conductor circuits requiring a separate earth.
