Flexible flat twin cable in the 2192Y construction, supplied in a white PVC sheath. It carries two cores of 0.5mm² Class 5 flexible stranded copper conductors laid side by side in a flat parallel format, with no earth conductor. Both PVC insulation and the PVC outer sheath are rated 300/300V and manufactured to BS EN 50525-2-11 (harmonised code H03VVH2-F, formerly BS 6500). The flat twin format is commonly used for luminaire and lampholder wiring, lighting pendant drops, and connection of light-duty portable appliances. The operating temperature range is typically -5°C to +70°C.
