The 40mm Galvanised Steel Conduit Lock Ring (MPN PME4) is a threaded ring used to secure steel conduit fittings — typically a male bush or coupler — at boxes and enclosure entries. Manufactured from pre-galvanised (zinc-coated) steel, it screws onto the fitting’s ISO-form metric thread and clamps it against the box wall, holding the assembly firm and maintaining earth continuity across the metal conduit system. Sized for 40mm conduit, it suits BS 4568 galvanised steel conduit installations. The galvanised finish provides corrosion resistance for indoor and general industrial environments. Sometimes referred to as a lock nut. Supplied individually.
