The MH150 is a 150W double-ended metal halide (HID) discharge lamp with an Rx7s cap and a 4000K cool white colour temperature. Built to the standard double-ended (DE) format of approximately 132mm, it delivers a bright, neutral light output typically in the 11,250-14,000 lumen range depending on lamp type, making it a common replacement lamp for floodlights, high-bay fittings and downlights. As a metal halide discharge lamp it requires external control gear (ballast and ignitor) and is not suitable for dimming. Colour rendering is typically CRI 70 on quartz types and higher on ceramic (CDM) variants. Confirm ballast compatibility before installation.
