The RJ11P is a 6-position, 4-contact (6P4C) modular crimp plug for terminating 2-pair telephone cable. The 6P4C format populates four of the six positions, matching the two conductor pairs used on standard single- and twin-line telephone circuits. Contacts are gold-plated to resist corrosion and maintain a low-resistance connection over the life of the termination. The plug crimps directly onto the cable using a standard RJ (modular) crimp tool. Suitable for phone extensions, handset and line cords, fax and ADSL leads, and general telephony patching where an RJ11-type interface is required.
