YY cable with 7 cores at 0.75mm² cross-sectional area, configured as 6 numbered black cores plus a green/yellow earth core. The numbered cores aid identification and termination in control panels, machine tooling and instrumentation wiring. Conductors are flexible Class 5 stranded bare copper to IEC 60228, with PVC core insulation and a grey PVC outer sheath. Rated 300/500V and manufactured to BS EN 50525-2-11 / VDE 0250. This is an unscreened (YY) cable, so it carries no braid or foil screen. It is suited to dry, damp and wet interior environments but is not intended for outdoor or direct burial use.
