About Eaton

Eaton is an Irish-headquartered company with a global footprint in power management. Their electrical division covers circuit protection, power distribution, control, and power quality across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The company holds a well-established position in the electrical trade, supplying switchgear and protection devices that appear in everything from domestic consumer units to large-scale industrial installations.

In the electrical trade, Eaton is most closely associated with its modular DIN rail product lines and moulded case switchgear. Their devices are routinely specified on commercial fit-outs, industrial panel builds, and residential wiring projects. The range spans circuit protection, isolation, and motor control, with products meeting both IEC/EN and BS EN standards.

Key ranges include xPole for MCBs and RCBOs, the NZM series for MCCBs, and xStart for modular contactors. Products carry certification to standards including IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 61009-1, IEC/EN 60947-2, and IEC/EN 60947-4-1, covering both domestic and industrial application requirements.

Our Range

Eaton xPole MCBs run from 0.5 to 125A in single- to four-pole configurations, B, C, and D curves, with breaking capacities up to 25kA to IEC/EN 60898-1. xPole and xEffect RCBOs cover 6–80A, Type A, AC, and B residual current, 30mA sensitivity, 6–10kA breaking. NZM and L-Frame MCCBs reach 10–2500A with adjustable electronic trip units and up to 200kA interrupting capacity to IEC/EN 60947-2. xPole switch-disconnectors handle 16–160A, one to four poles. xStart modular contactors cover 9–65A AC-3 with control voltages from 24 to 400V, available in single- and three-phase configurations.
