Sync Energy is a British brand operating under Luceco PLC, a group with over eighty years of experience in the electrical industry. The brand was developed out of BG Sync EV, broadening its scope to cover sustainable home energy alongside EV charging infrastructure. It sits within the residential and light commercial market, with a focus on smart energy management rather than traditional distribution or protection equipment.
In the electrical trade, Sync Energy is known for EV charging products designed for both domestic and workplace installation. Installers work with the Sync Energy App to configure and deploy chargers on site, which positions the brand within the growing category of app-managed, connected charging equipment. Their products are aimed at electricians and contractors carrying out EV charge point installations in homes and commercial premises.
The EV Wall Charger 2, launched in 2024, is the brand’s current principal charger offering. Sync Energy also produces modular battery storage and inverter systems under the SEFHI designation, extending its reach into home energy storage.
Sync Energy EV chargers are available in tethered and untethered configurations, rated from 7kW up to 22kW, suitable for domestic and commercial installation. The EV Wall Charger 2 is the current charger in the range.
