This 16mm² 3 core SWA armoured cable is designed for mains power distribution in safety-critical environments, rated at 600/1000V with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) inner bedding and outer sheath. The cable features class 2 stranded copper conductors and complies with BS 6724 and IEC 60502. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +90°C, with 90°C maximum conductor temperature. Steel wire armour (SWA) provides mechanical protection, making this cable suitable for direct burial, underground, duct, and outdoor installations where fire safety is paramount. Certified to BS EN/IEC 60332 and 61034 standards for flame retardancy and low smoke emission.
