This 16mm² 5 core SWA armoured cable is designed for mains power and control applications, rated at 600/1000V with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and a black LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath. The cable features class 2 stranded copper conductors and complies with BS 6724 and BS EN/IEC 60228. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +90°C with a 90°C maximum conductor temperature. Steel wire armour provides robust mechanical protection, making it suitable for direct burial, underground ducts, indoor and outdoor fixed installations, including public buildings with critical fire safety requirements. Cable core colours: brown, black, grey, blue, green/yellow in accordance with standard.
